Edifier GM5 TWS Earbud FAQ:

Q: My earbuds doesn't appear in my Phone's Bluetooth list.
A: Your earphone need to enter pairing mode in order to appear in bluetooth device search: 1. Hold the power button/touch control for 5 seconds until it flashes in blue/red alternatively. 2. Search again in your phone/laptop. 3. Click on it to pair. once paired it will automatic connect next time unless you unpair it.
Q: What is the difference between music and gaming mode?
A: Gaming Mode will have much lower latency than Music mode. But it will drain the battery faster.
Q: What is the difference of GM5 with other Gaming earbuds?
A: GM5 equipped with latest Qualcomm chip set QCC3046 and Bluetooth 5.2. Greatly reduced audio delay during gaming. excellent for fast paced game.
Q: How do I check the battery level?
A: When you put the earbud in the charging case the led will lit up. 3led = 3bars, 1 led =1bar. You also can check the battery level in your phone after connected. When you plug in the cable to charge the LED will blink also. when full it will stop blinking.
Q: My earbud have intermittent connection disruption?
A: This may caused by your phone’s or PC bluetooth settings or cache. For Android: Try clear your Bluetooth Cache:
  • Go to Settings.
  • Select “Application Manager”
  • Display system apps (you may need to either swipe left/right or choose from the menu in the top right corner)
  • Select Bluetooth from the now larger list of Applications.
  • Select Storage.
  • Tap Clear Cache.
  • Go back.
  • Finally restart the phone.
Q: I only able to connect one side. at a time. unable to connect both simultaneously
For GM5
1. Take out one earbud and hold the touch area until it turn off
2. In turned off status, hold the touch area again to turn it on then continue holding it. It will blink in white/blue, then blink white twice.
3. when it blink twice in white double tap the touch area within 3 seconds.
4. It will enter TWS-Pairing mode(White Hyperblink)
5. Repeat the same procedure for the other side and put them near each other. white led will goes off when it is succeeded TWS-Paired.
